I wish we could get a variety of counter depth refrigerators less than 36" wide, but there is only one brand made at the present time. Check out Fisher and Paykel for several models that are 32" wide and still counter depth.
If these units aren't what you're looking for you have a couple of other choices to fill that space: go to a full depth unit (there are many to choose from that are less than 36" wide) or switch to a built-in refrigerator. The built-in units are taller, usually 80" to 84" tall and add several thousand dollars to the price.
